I was just wondering because one of my friends that live in mexico can't neither download the game from the website nor install the game with his CD because it says conection problem? oO
I was just wonderin if that's IP block or what it could be I don't get why it says error with the connection when she's trying to install the game from a CD. she starts installing with the cd and all of a sudden it closes by itself and says connection error... same with downloading the game from the webpage anybody knows what's up? does she have internet?
if not, then it is obvious why she can't download it. as for the CD, it is very possible that GW talks to the arenanet servers before install for statistics and such. if that doesn't help, check your router and make sure there is no firewall blocking arenanet or guild wars. |
